Crisis Visits
The impetus for starting the Hylermed practice was to make general psychiatry available for emergent in-person evaluations and to shorten referrals to an adolescent psychotherapist during the COVID pandemic. Suffice to say, many providers lack immediate availability or prefer to treat patients online. At Hylermed, we are on call and can schedule a crisis visit within a week or less.
